Finding Peace and Joy in God

“I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”, Psalm 34:4–5, 8

In Psalm 34:4-5, 8, we learn that when we turn to God for help, He listens and answers us. The verse says, "I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears." This means that when we feel scared or worried, God is always there to comfort and protect us.

The Psalm also says, "Those who look to Him are radiant," which means that when we trust God, we shine with happiness and peace. People can see the joy in our hearts because God makes us feel safe and loved.

Finally, the verse invites us to "taste and see that the LORD is good!" Just like trying a new food, we can experience God's goodness in our lives. He blesses those who seek His help and take refuge in Him.

Whenever you feel afraid or uncertain, remember that God is always there, ready to help. Look to Him, trust in Him, and you will find peace and joy!
